I wonder if the registry key is different from what MG expects. May be
you can create a key whose name matches what is on a 32 bit machine (so
without the Wow6432 node).

Yes, MapGuide on 64 bit installs to
C:\Program Files (x86)\
The coords files thus install to
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Autodesk Shared\Gis\CoordSys\11g
This is the correct path setting in the registry key. There are no other
coords files on the machine, so Studio is definitely reading those
dictionary files. It is just not picking up the BC Albers definition
when I
replace those coords files.
