Thanks for the sales plug Chris :)

The poor man's approach would be to write them out to SDF via API calls
then use FDO2FDO to convert the SDF to SHP, but if FDO2FDO can do it
there must be FDO API to create SHP's. I am not aware of MGOS API to
create SHPs.

I am using *.shp files in MGOS without converting them to sdf format. I
need
the ability to select some features and then export that to a new *.shp
file. Is there anything out there that can do this??
