Hallo,
the problem I described can be seen also with the dotnetviewersample and the
Sheboygan dataset. If you call the task findaddress and make a search the
map is zooming to the right parcel but the blue push-pin marker is not
shown. I think this might be the same problem.
Is there anybody having the same issue, or is there may be some kind of bug
in the Beta version (I didn't test it with MGOS 1.1) ?
my configuration: MgOS 1.2 Beta2, IIS5, .NET development environment
kind regards, Hans

Subject: AW: AW: [mapguide-users] creating points at runtime / display
problem/.NET
Hallo,
my problem is still the same: I can create a feature source, a layer and add
the layer to the map during the session, add a point, the map is reacting to
the maxscale for example, that means the XML file is ok, everything is shown
in the legend, but in the map display the point is not shown ! The only
thing I noticed is: in the access.log of the mapguide server there is a line
like this:
MgOpGetIdentityProperties.1.0.0:3(MgResourceIdentifier,Default,startmarker)
Failure
where startmarker is my feature source. All other lines finish with success.
Does that mean anything ?
Thanks, Hans
