[mapguide-users] Save user drawn polygon to an existing layer

Hi Simon,

 

I did try this out before trying to update my feature source. I did a
GetResourceContent and  found that the Read-Only parameter was set to true.
I changed it to false and saved it back using SetResource. I did a
GetResourceContent on the parcels featuresource again to double check that
it was set to false.

 

Am I missing out anything else?

Nope, Im saving back to the sdf feature source. Im not using an RDBMS.

Is it an RDBMS? Do you need a commit?

Hi Folks,

 

I am trying to draw a polygon on the map and then save it as a feature, back
to a layer of the map ,which exists in the library. I am able to draw the
polygon on map,  get its coordinates, create an MgPolygon type , create the
corresponding properties and Insert the polygon in the layer. I do a client
side refresh after the layer is updated. However, the new polygon does not
apear on the map. I am attaching my code (in jsp) which does the above. Is
there anything extra that I need to do so as to show the feature on map?
