[mapguide-users] Java enhancements

Jason,

Fantastic idea. I sure wish they had Google Summer of Code when I was a 
student. Regarding my comment about "better-informed designed decisions" 
: The info I put in my ticket is everything I see (for now), but I 
haven't dealt with the whole API. I will update the ticket as I run 
across anything else which seems weird.
