[mapguide-users] javaviewersample shows jsp source

Hi,

I know where from is this error, I was using old sample for mapGuide 1.0 but
sample from file javaviewersample-1.1.zip works fine :)

Hi Farah,

 

I've done all those steps plus I've started manually Tomcat server-without
this I've recived error 503 - Service Temporary Not Aviable ( I use boundled
Apache, Tomcat and PHP ) and right now I've got following sorce error:







An error occurred at line: 22 in the jsp file:
/javaviewersample/utilityfunctions.jsp
Generated servlet error:
Type mismatch: cannot convert from MgLayerBase to MgLayer

 

 

I haven't modified source code of sample java applicatio.
Somebody have any idea what could be wrong.
I will try to run MapGuide Studio as sugested Dhirendra Kumar

Hi Kamil,

 

These are the things you need to do:

 

1)       Copy the sheboygan .mgp file to the Packages folder.Load the
sheboygan data  using the site admin.

2)       Copy the javaviewersample code into your www folder.

3)       Add the following line to your Apache httpd.conf file:  JkMount
/mapguide/javaviewersample/* worker1

4)       Restart your ApacheMapguide Service

5)       Try running your sample again.

Hi!
 
I got a problem getting started with mapguide.
I've tried to run the sample application for jsp, but 
 
<http://localhost:8008/mapguide/javaviewersample/ajaxtiledviewersample.jsp>
http://localhost:8008/mapguide/javaviewersample/ajaxtiledviewersample.jsp
gives just jsp source code instead of processing.
