Hi Jim,

I'm not sure why the API is failing for you, but WebLayouts can be saved
to the session repository; Studio creates web layouts in the session
repository for layer and map previews.

Yes, I am able to make a new resource identifier this way, and calling

$resourceId->GetRepositoryType();

tells me that the repository type is "Session".

However, passing that resource id to SetResource() gives:

mginvalidargumentexception

The same call with "Library://pathtoWebLayout.WebLayout" does create the
Web Layout in the repository, so I know the content byte source and
header byte source are valid.

There is no indiction in the documentation that you can use setresource
to save to Session. It appears that you can only save the map to
Session.
