[mapguide-users] Solution for MGServer.exe hanging on ServiceStart?

Yes, thank you, that worked for me! Keep in mind if you remove the DBXML
file your passwords seem to get reset as well. I found it easier to remove
the 00X and LOG files but by leaving the DBXML file user info was kept
intact.

ServiceStart?

First, back up your repositories folder. Then, delete all of the files in
the root of the Repositories\Site folder. Then, start the MapGuide service.
Assuming it starts, it will rebuild the repository database files that were
corrupted. This has worked for me in the past, but is certainly not
guaranteed to fix your problems.

Start?

What was the solution to the service not being able to start? One server
reboot mgserver.exe takes 25% of the process and just hangs. Must be the DB
issue people have been talking about. What was the solution to this? I want
to reset but not lose sites.
