SV: [mapguide-users] Any example how connect to ArcSDE fromcodewithFDO

Hello ArcSDE users!


Is there any success with modified code to use to connect to ArcSDE?
The server Ive tried (MGOS 1.1.0.301 and FDO 3.2 on Windows XP) is very shaky and creates a lot  of gsrvr processes (19(!) for a WMS with 2 layers) that I can't see why.

Do you have other/better experiances?

I don't have any code examples but one suggestion is to make sure you are not using the db instance name but the arcsde instance name. such as 5151 or esri_sde. I think there should also be some version parameters as default store is one option and any other schema that contain sde data could also be used and then the actual version name such as live or default or the version name.( I am thinking of what parameters I see in the FDO connection for arcsde in map) Hope this helps Brad

Somebody has an example about how connect to ArcSDE (FDO) from code. I use NET and I think that my problem is the string connection. I pass the server, the instance, the user and the password.

Please if someones has an example code in .NET about an ArcSDE connection I will be really grateful.
