[mapguide-users] pure HTML interface

I think you could do this fairly easily.
The page would have to re-post to itself, and use PHP to calculate
offsets for pans, zooms, etc, and then insert different parameters into
an image tag with the appropriate calls to the MapAgent. Or you could
build a custom "web service" wrapper on the server side to avoid long
parameter strings on the image tag that might get filtered out by
overzealous firewalls (like the good but annoying Checkpoint firewall
we're using here)

Subject: [mapguide-users] pure HTML interface
Hi all,
I am trying to generate maps using MGOS for javascript and DWR disabled
browsers. I wanted to know if it was possible to create a pure HTML
interface using mapguide open source. The idea would be to generate the
map images as gif or Jpeg depending on different parameters of a regular
HTML form and then have the browser download the image normally (no
Ajax)
Has anyone ever tried this ?
Thanks for helping.
Cheers
Alex
