Maciej,

It is possible to indicate or show our code for adding a new vertex on
existing polygon. Before do that, however, we want to know what you are
looking for whether technique for adding new vertex into existing polygon,
or solution for writing back to postgresql database. That is because our
plug-in library has just completed and won't be opensource.

Are you going to do this on MapGuide or postgis anyway?
We are not sure if this adding vertex should/could be done by one postgis
function.
