[mapguide-users] ecw on mgos-2.0.1

I believe we have different case. In my case, LL84 didn't work for me. EPSG:4326 is the only cs which work me. Since i couldn't select it from the mapguide studio cs, i need a tricky step. I made a new map and add the ecw layer first and others layers subsequently.
I infer that LL84 is not compatible with EPSG:4326 for ecw layer, at least in my case.

Hi,
I think its should work as previously i had the same problem as my ecw file was in LL84(EPSG:4326) and my map also in LL84 but EPSG:4019,so in that case i unable to view the ecw layers and get the coordinate transformation error but once i changed the coordinate system of Map to LL84(EPSG:4326), now i can able to see the 34(136/4) ecw files . Althoug as previously discussed there are some performance issues etc .
I also don't know that why there is no MGCoordinateSystem.dll in the MapAgent,Either they removed or is it something to do with coordinate transformation problem.
Max !!

I don't know exactly what happens here. I have postgis table with geometry field in EPSG:4326 coordinate system. I can render it from MGOS 2.0.1 with LL84 coordinate system. But if i add ecw file which has EPSG:4326 coordinate system, it is disappear from my map unless make use of EPSG:4326 coordinate system. I know that this cs do not supported by MGOS and I don't have an idea in what coordinate system my ecw file should be. I tried some of coordinate system from MapGuide Studio but none of them works for my ecw file. The same ecw file works in MGOS 1.2 with LL84 cs. Thanks.

MGOS does not support re-projection of rasters.
Your rasters must be in the same projection as the map.
If they are not, but the coordinate systems are compatible, you can add a coordinate system override on the feature source.
Beware that MapGuide Studio uses the Mentor projection library and MGOS uses PROJ.4.

I think it is a problem of coordinate system. I can preview my layer but i can't see it in map. I tried to create a new map and add the ecw layer, mapguide studio automatically add EPSG:4326 (WGS 84) for the coordinate system which is not in the list. In this case, i can add another layer and able to preview the map.

Something peculiar happen here. Previously i can open my ecw file, but after a few minutes i revisited back my page, the raster has gone. Now, i can't even get a new connection work.

When creating your raster data connections, use "/" instead of "\" in your
paths.
C:/Program
Files/MapGuideOpenSource2.0/WebServerExtensions/www/mapcatalogue/data/world.ecw
instead of
C:\Program
Files\MapGuideOpenSource2.0\WebServerExtensions\www\mapcatalogue\data/world.ecw
it may also be a problem with the space in "Program Files". You may need to
place your ecw files in a different location that does not have spaces i the
path.
hope ths helps
