Slash or backslash is not matter but space is really matter. If you have a folder with space, then you will see a simptom as i describe before..

I am using D:\Raster\Data and its wroking without any problem for ecw files,can somebody confirm about using D:\Raster\Data or D:/Raster/Data

When creating your raster data connections, use "/" instead of "\" in your
paths.
C:/Program
Files/MapGuideOpenSource2.0/WebServerExtensions/www/mapcatalogue/data/world.ecw
instead of
C:\Program
Files\MapGuideOpenSource2.0\WebServerExtensions\www\mapcatalogue\data/world.ecw
it may also be a problem with the space in "Program Files". You may need to
place your ecw files in a different location that does not have spaces i the
path.
