[mapguide-users] MG2.0 install with other web applications

You would mind explaining this process step by step? I'm not an expert on
getting multiple websites to work together. So far I've had good success on
our test server, but the main webapps server is where the challenge is.
I've also brought in the services of our programmer but there isn't much
back end knowledge regarding what Mapguide requires. (One wish list item is
for the installer to allow the server to be installed on a different
location than the default)
So far we've tried different scenerios from creating application pools, to
seperate web sites for mapguide. One thing I've not too clear on is the
process of what needs to be created (and pointed to what) before mapguide
server is recreated from the config file.
The other question I had is, does Mapguide require to be run as a
sub-website like it installs in the default or can the virtual folders be
located in the parent location (when creating a new Website). I hope I'm
explaining this correctly. It would be good to post a picture of what we
are encountering.
Thanks for the help!
