[mapguide-users] Strating the Viewer with a defined scale (ceter, scale) from a link

I don't think that is possible, out of the box.
You will need a small server side script that opens the WebLayout from 
the server repository, modifies the starting point, saves it as a temp 
resource, and redirects the page to the viewer with the temporary layout.
