What you can do is include the MapGuide API in your applications (BIN)
and use JavaScript top.YourFrame.MapFrame....etc to run the viewer
scripts like zoom selection after you have made the selection using
your local MapGuide API. THere are countless examples of this on the
site and the API guide.
