[mapguide-users] Issue Building and Setting Up Apache/Tomcat

Hi all,

I'm setting up a test box with MapGuide on it. I'm building apache,
php, tomcat, etc., from the mapguideaptinstaller-2.0.0.2.tar.gz tarball
available on the osgeo website. I've built this, installing into the
default location, and got no build errors. When I go to start apache, I
get the following error:

httpd: Syntax error on line 458
of /usr/local/mapguideopensource/webserverextensions/apache2/conf/httpd.conf: Syntax error on line 40 of /usr/local/mapguideopensource/webserverextensions/apache2/conf/mapguide.conf: Cannot load /usr/local/mapguideopensource/webserverextensions/apache2/modules/mod_jk.so into server: /usr/local/mapguideopensource/webserverextensions/apache2/modules/mod_jk.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

mod_jk.so is happily living
in /usr/local/mapguideopensource/webserverextensions/apache2/modules,
The lines in the configuration files are pointing to the correct file
and directory, and the permissions appear correct. If I comment out
line 458 of httpd.conf, apache starts fine. Tomcat will also start.
I'm running CentOS 4.7, fully updated. SELinux is turned off.

Any ideas what may be causing this?

Cheers,
Dennis
