ALL four(4) of your geometry examples are in fact VALID against our Oracle 10.2.0.3. (This 07 vs. 03 sdo_gtype would be a interesting question for Oracle: Like - Why is there a 03 type at all? Since when does MULTIPLE = one(1)? Good'ol Oracle math.)

Anyway, for any single geometry there is nothing in the spec that says anything about the order of the rings within SDO_ELEM_INFO_ARRAY. All the information that is needed to process each ring is there within SDO_ELEM_INFO_ARRAY so this makes sense to me.

I would hope Haris K. is listening in and has the time to delve into this.
