Hello
I've got a problem with MapGuide OpenSource 2.0.0. In my test environment everything is working fine. The test machine is 32bit W2k server, whilst the production machine is 64bit AMD W2k server. I installed 32 bit versions of MapGuide and the King.Oracle (version 0.7.5) provider on this machine and have IIS in WOW mode. I know these are older versions, but for some reason, I cannot upgrade right now.
I ran into the following problem described at:
http://forums.oracle.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=529340
which means that the Oracle client cannot connect to the database from catalogues with parentheses (the MapGuide Server is in c:\program files (x86) ). I thought I solved this problem by creating a junction point at c:\PF, removed the MapGuide Service and recreated it from c:\PF\MapGuide ... I can connect to the Oracle database now, but MapGuide is horrible unstable at this point. It is enough to start the AjaxViewer, zoom two or three times and the service is dieing. There is no error in the error.log file, besides a lot of messages about expired sessions. The only thing I find is in the system log in the event viewer: The MapGuide Server v2.0 is terminated unexpectedly.
Has anybody seen anything similar? Any help is appreciated!
Regards
