[mapguide-users] Regarding -- Run Time Maps vs Static Maps

1) There is no difference in how you create the maps, the viewer doesn't 
know, and doesn't care.
2) Development (as in coding) is less if you just create the maps in 
Studio/Maestro, but development (as in administrating maps) may grow, 
and cannot be easily automated.
3) I would expect this to be an insignificant issue.
4) I have no good guess.
5) I'm pretty sure that the maps saved with Studio/Maestro will be 
supported "forever".

You can save a little overhead, if you save the generated maps into the 
"Library://" repository, instead of the "Session:" one.
It requires slightly higher privileges to do so (author role?), but that 
way, you can automate the build of maps,
and just point to the correct one on startup.
