[mapguide-users] Error on services (mgserver.exe)

Ocasionally there is also information in the System event log (not the 
performance log).
Start -> Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Eventlog
Click on "Applications".

As a last resort, try running mgserver.exe in interactive mode as 
explained on the bottom of this page:
