[mapguide-users] Posting Guidelines

Sorry Andy I'm juggling many things at the moment.
The following are links I have:
http://sandbox.mapguide.com/index.php/Main_Page
http://ennoble.dreamhosters.com/mapguide-central/
http://enterprise.mapguide.com/landing/index.php
I don't think moderating is the way to go unless things get totally out of hand.
I do agree we need some kind of index page referenced off of OSGeo. I don't know what kind of posting rights I have on the site, but I will certainly try to help organize and critique anything you come up with.
I think we should try to organize things into obvious categories:
Getting Started (I'd like to replace the Getting Started PDF with a page of content)
Sample Sites
Technical References
Other Links
A Posting Guidelines page (Include guidelines in the registration email and in monthly reminders to the list)
Of course I'm just spouting stuff here so anyone can suggest something better.
Any thoughts?
Dave

I agree that moderating messages would get old real quick. It's just the
only sure way we can filter the messages. But, it's an extreme reaction and
establishing some obvious "getting started" resources is probably the best
first step.
I didn't get any volunteers that wanted to help with this. For those of you
who have been on this list for awhile, it would be a great help if you could
email me a summary of all of the MGOS resources and sites that you use and
have Bookmarked. I want to create a master index page for these resources or
possibly work on moving the resources over to the MGOS project site.
Thanks,
Andy

I just want to say that I've been known to be wrong before...
