[mapguide-users] Posting Guidelines

I don't have any specific sites. I pretty much Google by topic, that way I don't have to visit several sites to see if somebody wrote/blogged about it. A lot of blogs simply point to another blog which is irritating to me. Perhaps a forum would be a better place a FAQ. Someone (Andy?) could start a FAQ and then individuals could contribute then as they see fit. A lot can be done with a forum to control improper language, etc. You could also require that a person have in their signature the details of their implementation. At least we would get some of the details that way.

I agree that moderating messages would get old real quick. It's just the
only sure way we can filter the messages. But, it's an extreme reaction and
establishing some obvious "getting started" resources is probably the best
first step.
I didn't get any volunteers that wanted to help with this. For those of you
who have been on this list for awhile, it would be a great help if you could
email me a summary of all of the MGOS resources and sites that you use and
have Bookmarked. I want to create a master index page for these resources or
possibly work on moving the resources over to the MGOS project site.
Thanks,
Andy

I just want to say that I've been known to be wrong before...
