[mapguide-users] Search Option

Hi everyone.
 
I uninstalled the Mapguide Maestro 1.0.9 and installed Mapguide Maestro r4208 and the search option is now available with the layout and working.

Now 

When I am trying to the browse the page and search a location,
it is only showing only the top records from the table rather than searching
for the text written in the textbox and then displaying it.
 

How can I search exact record for the text written in the textbox for the search option?
 
am I wrong somewhere in setting the layout ?
 
Do I need to set a filter in the Extra Properties tab of the search option.
 
can anybody help!

I am using MapGuide Maestro 1.0.9 and there is option only for new layout.

What version of Maestro are you using?

I just tried creating a new weblayout and inserting a Search command with r4208 and it works there.

Hello!

Whenever I try to create a search button in the layout with Maestro, when try to save the layout or show in browser, I get these errors (see attachments). 

The same errors appear if I create the search with the Studio and open layout with the Maestro. 




Any body help me ......

How can I use and implement search option for a map using maestro.
I am using MapGuideOpenSource2.0 with MapGuide Maestro 1.0
 
When I tried to add the search option with the layout it is giving the following error:
 
 
The remote server returned an error.
(559)  MgDbXMLexception...
 
Can anyone help!
