[mapguide-users] renderingService.RenderMap -symbols from my symbol library do not render

Not sure if it helps you, but the AJAX viewer uses a 
"RenderDynamicOverlay" to render layers that are not baselayers.
You should still get exactly the same results, but perhaps you can see 
something if you try calling both methods.
