Can you also check with a phpinfo test page? It may be an issue with PHP not loading. I suspect the build you have is 32bit PHP from 5.2.25 and we are only just updating PHP to 5.3.1. It may be the 32bit PHP on 64bit doesn't play well.

Have you set display_errors = On in your php.ini? It may reveal more
information.
