Hi Jackie, thank you for your interest.

The view in Postgres was my first thought, but MapGuide seems to don't
recognize views as geometrical object. 
In fact, MapGuide recognize the field "the_geom" as the Geometric property
of the Layer, but it'is not able to plot the points.

Someone know a way to make a view in Postgres that MGOS is able to plot?

(...maybe it's better if I add a new post?...)
