Beta versions don't QA and test themselves to final release.

Yes Maestro 3.5 may be a beta, but that shouldn't hold you back from trying
it out. For features newly implemented, yes such features have not been
fully tested and should be approached with caution, but there are also
plenty of bugfixes and various tweaks to improve MapGuide authoring
productivity.
