The key is to contact Adesk and push them for what you need.  It is the only way that they know what is important to the users.

This is good information but bad news for me Frosty.The reason this is bad
news is because our entire solution relies heavily on the DWF layers. We
have tons of DWG data that doesn't need to be stored in the database and
exporting to DWF is just so easy. I was also relying on loading a single DWF
to studio and dynamically changing the DWF source at runtime to keep things
clean.

I'll try restarting the server and reloading the DWF. I also have a ticket
open with autodesk but have yet to hear back. The better news is that I can
replicate this issue over and over with the same DWG's.
