If you use fusion.js as-is, it should load the widget code separately.

single-file fusion combines the fusion library with the widget code, if you
use this version you *have* to rebuild the single-file fusion.

I'd take some time to learn to build fusion via ant (It's not that hard).
There is a lot of javascript (several MBs of files) you are serving to
users.
