This means something went wrong in the image generation script (yeah, not the
most meaningful message). 

Either the GeneratePicture.php it is calling timed out, or there was an
error in that script. My modified QuickPlot does render out as an image any
exceptions that may be thrown. But due to PHP's rather schizophrenic error
facilities, some errors (eg. PHP fatal errors) aren't handled and slip right
through.

If you have firebug, you should be able to inspect the error status and/or
of the GeneratePicture.php in the "Net" tab for more information.
