That's exactly what I did - I used a raw connection string.  When I test
the connection, it's fine, but it won't let me edit the schema.

Ah, there is no place to type the Username and Password in ODBC within
Maestro.

Use the Rawconnectionstring instead.

Driver={SQL
Server};Server=localhost\SQLEXPRESS;DataBase=TEST;Uid=sa;Pwd=mapguide;
