[mapguide-users] How to realize the dynamic segment function in MGOS?

the function of dynamic segment is often used in the ITS(intelligent
Transport system).
take a highway geometry for example,the start point distance is zero,the end
point distance is 50KM.
how can i caculate the Coordinate of the  22.3KM distance?

in arcgis ,i can use the dynamic segment function. and i wonder if the same
thing exists in mgos?
