Subject: [mapguide-users] Spatial data required for implementing new Maestro feature.
Hi All,
As part of the first post-3.0 release of Maestro (tentatively 3.1), I want to implement support in the Layer Definition editor for specifying elevation/extrusion settings that take effect when said layer is output as KML for consumption in Google Earth. This was a feature introduced with MapGuide RFC 16, that was implemented way back with the release of MapGuide Open Source 1.2
Unfortunately, I have yet to find a suitable piece of spatial data (preferably something publically available) on this big wide web that I could use for testing such an implementation. I am after something like a set of buildings geometries with height or elevation attributes. Format isn't really a concern as long as it can be read via FDO.
Any idea where I can get a hold of such data?
- Jackie
