Hi,

We are in the process of migrating a Mapguide Enterprise website to a 64 bit
Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard OS (Mapguide Open Source 2.2). I get a
fusion error when refreshing the map in Mapguide Studio V2.2.0.6301. The
reason we are doing this is to add the ability to display tabular SQL Server
data (with coordinates) as a point feature layer on the map. In addition we
have had problems with earlier versions of Mapguide OSGeo establishing a
connection to SQL Server with the intent to join the data to map features.

I have been in communication with Autodesk to resolve the connection issue
and their first suggestion was to upgrade to the latest Mapguide Studio
Product which we did (V2.2.0.6301). This is when we started getting the
Fusion Error:
WARNING: Exception Occured in AJAX Callback.
Message: Array Length must be a finite positive integer.
In response Autodesk told us that the most likely reason for the error had
to do with the fact that most of our data is in State Plane NAD 27 US Foot,
and that we should convert our data to a Metric coordinate system. They
suggested that we use a Metric Override to accomplish this (found in the
Feature Source's Coordinate System Overrides). Unfortunately I could not
find the Metric equivalent for the State Plane Coordinate System Wisconsin
South NAD 27 (US Foot) Autodesk told us to convert the data to HARN 83,
which I am afraid would be a very unpopular solution, since much of the
source data is maintained by other government institutions in NAD 27. Why
bring this question here? Autodesk keeps telling me that this is an Open
Source issue, and that they don't support that. Personally I think it is a
Mapguide Studio issue but I can't be sure. I am hoping that by getting
answers to the following questions I can keep moving forward and bypass
Autodesk support. Here are the questions:

1. Has anyone seen this Fusion Error before and if you have, do you have any
idea what might be the cause? If we are lucky you might also have a way to
deal with or eliminate the error.

2. If the problem lies with the coordinate system, as Autodesk suggests, how
and where would I be able to create the coordinate definition for Wisconsin
South NAD 27 (Meters)?

3. Did we have to migrate to the latest version of MapGuide OSGeo? The
original reason for making this migration was to establish a working
connection to SQL Server. Have we missed something? In truth I find it
hard to believe that you can't create a layer from coordinates stored in a
tabular format and if I can successfully do what I need to do using in
MapGuide OSGeo 2.0 then great.

Thanks for your help and comments
