[mapguide-users] FDO 3.4 compile error

Debian 2.6?  That does not seem to be listed in Distrowatch.  Are you using a variant of Debian?

From what I recall, FDO compiles older versions of xerces and xalan (as does MapGuide).  Depending on the Linux distro, the gcc compiler may not successfully compile the older sources.  I think gcc 4.1 works.

For those without Subversion, a compressed tar file that contains source code for both the MapGuide Server and MapGuide Web Server Extensions with configure / make / make install scripts.
Requires FDO 3.4.0 which is available from fdo.osgeo.org<http://fdo.osgeo.org/>.
Source for the Apache Web Server, PHP and Tomcat with a shell script to automatically build and configure these tools for MapGuide Open Source is also included under Oem/LinuxApt.

any reason you are using such an old version of FDO?
