[mapguide-users] Is it possible to specify the schema version when connection to a WMS feature source?

I tried to use this very same WMS feature source with 2.4, resulting in the error described in

So right now, I can't use this feature source with 2.4.

BTW: there was a lot of work done for WMS compatibility after 2.2 which is available in 2.4

I was adding '?VERSION=1.1.1' to the URL of the feature source and now it works.

P.S. I would like to find out why the FDO WMS provider doesn't like the 1.3.0 schema of this server...but for now, this issue is solved by adding the version parameter.

Actually, if the WMS server operates like how MapGuide serves WMS, you could probably pass in a VERSION parameter in the URL to indicate the WMS version you want to work with.
