Like Gordon said, there is not an out of the box function.  If you are new to
MGOS, I would recommend reading through the developer's guide, Chapter 4
(Querying Feature Data) and Chapter 6 (Analyzing Features>Temporary Feature
Sources and Creating a Buffer).  While the buffer may not be exactly what
you want to do, it may be a starting place.  Also, the samples (php or .net)
that you can download may be a good starting point for what you want to do
(also referenced in the developer's guide).
