If you need to specify a proxy server, the FDO WMS provider as of 3.7
actually supports additional connection parameters to do this:

ProxyServerName
ProxyServerPort
ProxyServerUsername
ProxyServerPassword

Maestro is not yet aware of these parameters in the specialized Feature
