Hi,
I've tested now the inserting of features to SQL Server 2008 Spatial with
the final release of MGOS 2.4.
The problem described in my initial post is even worse. The error message
now is more detailed but still contains just the same information:
Until now I've could ignore this error since the feature was written to my
database anyway. But now the next operation to FeatureService (not just on
the FDO Spatial Provider for SQL Server) throws this error:
I also tried this with a very simple table. It has two columns (ID and
geometry), a primary key and a spatial index. Here is how I create it:
I've tested this table already with FDO ToolBox without any problem.
Inserting new features works without problems. By the way I have to mention
that updating this table with my code works as expected without any
problems.
I hope anyone has an answer to my problem. Maybe there is someone else who
works with SQL Server 2008 Spatial and MapGuide OpenSource 2.4 and can test
this with his own application. At the moment this problem is a real
showstopper and therefore I can't migrate to 2.4.
Any idea?
Gunter
