[mapguide-users] MapGuide offline mode

Does anyone have any ideas for making MapGuide, specifically Fusion right
now but would be open for anything, available offline? I have been able to
get Fusion to work fine with the mobile devices but the client is needing
offline mode because a network connection will not always be feasible. Are
target platform right now is Android and iPad with possibly Windows
Tablets. We are able to get a working app using PhoneGap and everything
works fine on our test tablet. I tried the OpenLayers route and while I can
get a map to show and data to pull up, it doesn't come in a format that is
very usable and still not sure how the offline mode would work.

I am developing Windows desktop apps using MgDesktop and it works great. I
had thought about trying to port the source over to Java maybe but that is
not feasible to me because I don't even know Java.

Has anyone been able to accomplish this and if so, could you at least point
me in the right direction?

Thanks,

Rich
