[mapguide-users] No transparency for WMS-rasterlayer NOT in a Baselayergroup

found the answer myself...
the trick is to set the in the wms-datasource under advanced
(config-document)
the checkbox "transparent". This way even when not used in a baselayergroup, 
white color of the raster is interpreted as transparent...
