[mapguide-users] XYZ grid compatibility of tiled maps?

Hi All,

Does anyone know if tiled maps in MapGuide are compatible with the XYZ grid
scheme that can be consumed by facilities provided by Leaflet, OpenLayers or
any other mapping library that can consume tiled layers based on a XYZ grid?

ie. Does Z, X, Y in a XYZ tileset directly translate to scaleIndex, row, col
of MapGuide tiled maps?

My initial findings say no, and that some other factors are involved. Does
XYZ tilesets have to be in certain coordinate systems? Do MapGuide tiled
maps use a different (0,0) origin from XYZ tilesets?
