[mapguide-users] WMS Authentication Issue with MapInfo

Hi,

I have a wms maguide service with iis and Windows Basic Authentication.

When i try to connect to mapguide wms server with 4 wms client :

-          Mapinfo

-          QGis

-          Gaia

-          Autocad Map

getcapabilities it's Ok

Gaia, autocad Map and Qgis display layers but MapInfo.

So I inspected with fiddler URLS sended by this 4 products.

For each maps the client send 2 urls : the first return 401 error (no authentication) and the second return the png.

But for MapInfo, MapInfo send only 1 url with basic authentication so every time it ask to connect with prompt login.

So I asked me the difference with a connection with a browser, and I saw in the header that the domain is different :

With a brother the realm= the domain name but with a wms server MapGuide not return the domain name but "MapGuide", I think it mismatch with the domain we try to connect.

I ask me if MapGuide server when it return a Getmap don't have a problem with Authentication and MapInfo is more sensible others wms clients ?
