[mapguide-users] RES: MGOS 4.0 and PostgreSQL

I tested Mapguide 4.0 and Postgresql15(Postgis 3.3.2) and I can say
it's working.

The current PostgreSQL version is 16. Support for version 11 will end in
February 2024 (AWS RDS PostgreSQL 11 must be migrated).

So, the most advanced PostgreSQL version the new Mapguide 4.0 will support is
version 12 ?

It is not possible a more recent version ? It is a FDO limitation ?

PostGIS Provider:

*       Added support for PostgreSQL 12.0
*       No longer joins to pg_authid when listing tables/views
*       Support for curve strings and curve

The most recent PostgreSQL/PostGis versions which are compatible to Mapguide
Server 3.1.2 are version PostgreSQL 12 and PostGis 2.5 ?

Mapguide Server 4.0 will be compatible with which versions of
PostgreSQL/PostgGis ?
