The only way I know to do that is to use the api to read the features
out of the shp, create a new sdf file with a duplicate set of
properties and write the features back into the new sdf. Assuming
there is a FeatureSource, you will need to create a copy that points
at the sdf.

The shp->sdf magic of a LoadProcedure is handled by the client side
Autodesk Mapguide studio application. That's why webstudio doesn't
support LoadProcedure resources.
