[MapProxy] testing omniscale proxy service

Hi.

While trying to develop my own config, I'm trying to better understand mapproxy, so I tried to use the service here:
http://osm.omniscale.net/proxy

Having followed the list threads, I tried using QGIS. This did not worked, so I tried uDig, and I can't make it work either...

My question: how can I see this service in a desktop app?
