[MapProxy] Uppercase Param Names

The WMS administrator knows about it, it's just that they've got a long and involved process for upgrading their WMS server software :)

If you can connect the source WMS administrator  you can perhaps remind that the WMS  standard says

 

"6.4 Request Parameter Rules

6.4.1 Parameter Ordering and Case

Parameter names shall not be case sensitive, but parameter values shall be case sensitive.

In this document, parameter names are typically shown in uppercase for typographical

clarity, not as a requirement."

 

All uppercase workaround setting in MapProxy could be useful, though.

Hi all,

 

Just wondering if the change referred to in this post http://lists.osgeo.org/pipermail/mapproxy/2011-March/000584.html <http://lists.osgeo.org/pipermail/mapproxy/2011-March/000584.html>  ever made it into MapProxy?

 

I've got a source WMS server that refuses to respond to WMS requests where all of the parameters aren't entirely uppercase.
