[MapProxy] opacity not working?

Marco, here's one thing. As I can see, you have MapServer as your source
server. In your map file the outputformat is
    OUTPUTFORMAT
        ...
        IMAGEMODE RGB
        ...
    END
that means the served images do not have alpha channel, try replacing that
with RGBA.
And sorry for a little bit of hacking :) (deny access to the config/map
files)
