I've looked at the ways it can be deploy and I'm a little overwhelmed with all the available options. Just wondered if anyone has any comments on which deployment method and software options is the fastest/best/preferred?

Hi,

I am deploying Mapproxy on Apache with mod_wsgi. I still have no real
experience with high load, but usually mod_wsgi works nicely.

I wouldn't run fastcgi if I'd the choice though ... mod_wsgi is way faster
